Aluminum Glass Railing System – Top-Mount Base Shoe – overview
The Aluminum Glass Railing System – Top-Mount Base Shoe (MOD 0600) is a 121 mm aluminum base shoe profile that is fixed on top of the floor and clamps frameless glass panels along their bottom edge. Together with corners, end caps and the glazing kit it forms a complete aluminum glass railing system without posts.

Applications

Installation notes
- Fix the profile to a level, load-bearing structure with anchors suited to the base (concrete, steel or timber) – the structural engineer sets the anchor type.
- Insert the setting blocks, stand the glass in the channel and lock it with the wedges and gaskets of the glazing kit MOD 0800 / 0900.
- Order the kit for your exact glass build-up (12 to 21.52 mm).
- Panel size, glass type and loads must be checked against your local building rules.
