Base Shoe External Corner 90°
The Base Shoe External Corner 90° (MOD 0601) is a ready-made outside corner for the UNIKIM top-mount aluminum base shoe. It has the same 121 mm height and 45 mm width as the profile, so the glass line continues round the corner without a miter joint.
It is listed on page 9 of the UNIKIM 2024 catalogue with the profile Aluminum Glass Railing System – Top-Mount Base Shoe (MOD 0600) (MOD 0600), the internal corner MOD 0602 and the end cap MOD 0603.

Applications
Outside corners of frameless glass balconies, terraces, roof decks and pool fences built with the top-mount base shoe MOD 0600.
Installation notes
- Fit the corner first, then butt the straight profiles against it.
- Fix it with the same anchors as the profile.
- Glaze it with the same glazing kit as the straight run – see the glazing kit MOD 0800 / 0900.
- Check panel sizes and loads against your local building rules.
External or internal corner?
Use MOD 0601 where the railing turns round an outside corner (the glass is on the outside of the angle). For an inside corner use the Base Shoe Internal Corner 90° (MOD 0602).
