Black Square Glass Clamp 70×55 mm for 10–17.52 mm Glass – overview
The Black Square Glass Clamp 70×55 mm (MOD 2024, finish B) is the largest square glass clamp in the UNIKIM range in a matte black finish. It holds thick single glass (10–12 mm) and laminated glass up to 17.52 mm to a post, wall or round handrail tube.
A black square glass clamp suits modern projects with dark handrails, posts and window frames. The catalogue lists MOD 2024 for indoor use and, with a security pin, for outdoor use (pages 39–41 and 44). The same clamp in brushed stainless steel is the Heavy Duty Square Glass Clamp 70×55 mm.

For AISI 316 replace A2 with A4. For the finish replace the last letter: S brushed, M polished, B black, W white, R raw.
Applications
Glass balustrades on stairs, balconies, terraces and mezzanines with black handrails or posts; hotels, offices, shops and other commercial projects; outdoor railings with a security pin, in AISI 316 near the coast or pools.
Installation notes
- Glass panel height in the catalogue test set-up: 800–1,000 mm; minimum panel width 500 mm.
- Gap from handrail to top of glass, and from floor to bottom of glass: 10–50 mm (up to 120 mm with edge protection).
- Fit the clamps 100–150 mm from the top and bottom edges of the panel.

Ordering tips
For coastal and pool areas order AISI 316 (A4.2024.xx.B). The matching rubber inserts are A9.2024.10.R to A9.2024.18.R, one per glass thickness. Ask for black posts and handrail fittings in the same order for a consistent look.
