The Glass Railing Standoff Hardware, Pin Type with M10 × 300 mm Rod (MOD 2700) is a pin-type glass standoff with a Ø50 mm head, Ø60 mm base, 38 mm body and a long M10 × 300 mm threaded rod. The rod is set deep in concrete with a chemical anchor for a very strong fixing.

Applications
Concrete slab edges, balconies and stairs where a deep chemical anchor is required, and refurbishments over render or insulation.
Installation notes
- Drill the glass with the hole size shown in the catalogue for this model, and always use tempered or laminated safety glass.
- Fix the standoff with an anchor that suits the base: chemical anchor in concrete, through-bolt in steel, or the matching screw in timber.
- Keep the rubber or PVC washers between the glass and the metal; steel must never touch the glass directly.
- The number of standoffs per panel and the edge distances depend on the glass size and the load – ask an engineer for public or commercial projects.
