The Heavy Duty Glass Standoff Ø70 × 50 mm, M12, for 8–21 mm Glass (MOD 2550) is the longest heavy-duty round standoff in the UNIKIM range: a Ø70 mm head, 50 mm stand-off and M12 bolt. The 50 mm gap leaves room for cladding, insulation or a drip edge between the slab and thick laminated glass.

Applications
Commercial balconies and stairs with cladding or render on the slab edge, public buildings and laminated glass up to 21 mm.
Installation notes
- Drill the glass with the hole size shown in the catalogue for this model, and always use tempered or laminated safety glass.
- Fix the standoff with an anchor that suits the base: chemical anchor in concrete, through-bolt in steel, or the matching screw in timber.
- Keep the rubber or PVC washers between the glass and the metal; steel must never touch the glass directly.
- The number of standoffs per panel and the edge distances depend on the glass size and the load – ask an engineer for public or commercial projects.
